Commander Taylor presented a Sons of AMVETS Mission Award to Squadron 88 Troy, Ohio. The Sons of 88 have helped support their post over the past few years while the AMVETS worked through some issues that they were having. The Sons took over daily operations of the canteen and did all of this without taking any money for themselves. The put all funds back into the post and were able to turn the canteen operations back over to the AMVETS a few months ago. Well done Sons of 88 Troy! You serve as an example for any other squadron that may face the same circumstances in the future!
