Fellow Sons of AMVETS,
AMVETS National Executive Committee (NEC) voted to cancel the 2020 National Convention. Therefore, Sons of AMVETS (SOA) 2020 National Convention is canceled.
All SOA National elected and appointed officers will remain in place until the next election at the 2021 SOA National Convention in Greensboro, NC. Constitution and By-Laws (CBL) amendments and resolutions will not be possible in 2020 as a result of the National Convention cancelation.
SOA National will be holding an Executive Board conference call to discuss how to move forward with the remainder of this membership year. Plan details will be emailed later this week.
As previously released, my testimonial dinner scheduled for July, is canceled. The same is true for the Golf Scramble to benefit my project Help Heal Veterans (HHV). Both will be rescheduled in 2021.
