The Sons of AMVETS Dept. of Ohio proudly invite the AMVETS, AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary, all Sons of AMVETS, veterans and guests to join us on a bus trip to Washington DC. We will be representing our AMVETS family on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month 2023 at the Memorial Service in the Arlington Cemetery Amphitheater.
$50 Reserves your spot on the trip! First come basis so find a current Sons Department Officer and reserve your spot now! Buses conveniently leaving from two locations – Columbus and Vermilion
Here's the Deal:
Chartered Bus trip to D.C., 4 days and 3 nights lodging, double occupancy required. Refreshments, games, and fun on the bus, as well as a hospitality room at the hotel. All for just $400.00 per person! We will be departing on Thursday morning, November 9th, stopping at Flight 93 Memorial that afternoon to place a wreath. Friday will be a free day, giving you a chance to spend a day in beautiful D.C. With an opportunity at a night tour of select memorials and monuments. We will attend the Memorial Service at Arlington National Cemetery on Saturday November 11th, followed by placing wreaths at the WWII, Korean, and Vietnam Memorials. Sunday morning we return home. Since we are chartering buses, we ask that you reserve your seat as soon as possible.
