VETERANS DAY BUS TRIP
November 9 – 12, 2015
*2 buses - 1 departing AMVETS Department Headquarters in Columbus and 1 departing Post 22 Vermilion
$275 per person, (double occupancy required) first come basis paid in advance.
The Sons of AMVETS Dept. of Ohio proudly invite the AMVETS, AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary, all Sons of AMVETS, veterans and guests to join us on a bus trip to Washington DC. We will be representing our AMVETS family on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month 2015 at the Memorial Service in the Arlington Cemetery Amphitheater.
We will be departing AMVETS Department Headquarters and Vermilion Post 22 at 9:00 A.M. on Monday, November 9th. Stopping at Flight 93 Memorial on Monday afternoon to place a wreath. Tuesday will be a free day, giving you a chance to spend a day in D.C. We will attend the Memorial Service on Wednesday November 11th, followed by placing wreaths at the WW II, Korean and Vietnam Memorials and tour beautiful D.C. Thursday morning we depart for home.
Here's the Deal
Chartered Bus trip to D.C., 4 days and 3 nights lodging, double occupancy required at Alexandria Mark Center. Refreshments, games and fun on the bus. Since we are chartering 2 buses, we ask that you reserve your seat as soon as possible. Reservation cut-off is October 30, 2015
